Below is our annual blog updating you on what the Drurys have been up to in the last year (2021). It's certainly a blog you can keep up with, as it's only once a year.

Kathy...
- Completed "i to i" certification for Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
- Co-led an English as a new language conversation class at the local library. After 16 months on zoom they returned in-person in August.
- Started her own English conversation club where she has ladies in our home and online doing things like holiday parties and baking.
- Celebrated 25 years of marriage with Dave (see photo).
- Enjoyed a much needed Florida and Disney trip with Dave and Lauren in early November.
David...
- Felt released from his role in The Wesleyan Church leadership, wrapping up in June.
- Spent more time coaching leaders and other authors, as well as doing some consulting.
- Helped launch the new Global Marketplace Multipliers initiative at Global Partners.
- Enjoyed new board games Scythe, Blood Rage, and Code Names.
- Loved reading The Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, Brave New World, and Platform Revolution.
- Established a pre-dawn writing time that has been pretty consistent and rewarding.
- Released a book called SoulHacks: Simple Spiritual Ideas in June which you can still get for free for subscribing to his Substack called DruGroup (which is also free).
Lauren...
- Released a single in February.
- Had a recital and preformed Il mio Bel Foco in June.
- Went on vacation at a beach house with her extended family.
- Preformed as the White Queen in “Alice In Wonderland” (pictured).
- Went to Brooksville FL and saw her grandparents.
- Stayed in a Disney World resort and went to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.
Karina...
- Fainted less, gradually getting a bit better
- Had senior prom with boyfriend Luke, finished senior year, and graduated high school (pictured).
- Took a senior trip to Minnesota with her Mom
- Continued her social media work which has become a bit of a job
- Released a new book called Influenced: How Social Media Complicates Teenage Identity
- Started college at IWU, moving in with roommate Morgan
- Studying "design for social impact"
- Got a new job at the IWU chapel office
Max...
- Participated in the Indiana Arts Commission: Marion On-Ramp Workshop in June
- Secured a grant in the Fall for a new game project
- Started a new major in graphic design at IWU and finished a semester well
- Began production of a board game for the IAC grant
- Began production for a video game with 2 friends on board for the grant
